The FAQ
Do you Travel?
Yes! I will travel to you. Whether you want photos done at home, or if you have a place in mind where you would like your photos done. Travel costs are $.50 per km.
How long have you been doing this?
I started Photography By J in 2023. I learn something new with every session that I capture. I am always browsing the web for new ideas and completing education.
How do we get our photos?
A password protected gallery will be sent directly to your email. By entering the provided password you can access your entire gallery of photos.
Do you retouch photos?
Yes! Although I like to keep the photo as natural as possible, I will edit any unnatural blemishes, I will soften just a touch, and I will remove anything that may be affecting the final look of the photo. My editing style is 'dark & moody'. Please do not ask me to edit like another photographer; we are all unique in our own way!
Whats your turn around time?
Depending on what kind of session is being done, you can usually expect to receive your photos within a few days. (Sessions that contain more photos ie: engagement; may take up to 3 weeks to complete)

What should we wear?
Whatever you are most comfortable in! A reminder to dress appropriately for the weather. Breaks can be taken but will impact the total duration of time spent taking photos.
